A Beautiful Vow Renewal at San Luis Pass
On September 13, 2024—yes, Friday the 13th (my favorite day)—I had the pleasure of capturing the sweetest vow renewal at the stunning San Luis Pass. It was an intimate ceremony with just 10 guests, and even though it was *HOT*, the beauty of the day made it all worth it.
Lanie, the lovely bride, had been planning this day for six months, ensuring she got the florals she wanted before they sold out! Her attention to detail paid off, as the vibrant yellows, oranges, and pinks were the perfect complement to the soft blues of the sky and water, with the grey rocks creating a stunning natural backdrop.
The ceremony was held right at the water's edge, where the gentle waves seemed to echo the newly written vows that Lanie and her husband, Tanner, shared. After five years of marriage, their love was as strong as ever, and it was heartwarming to witness them reaffirm their commitment to one another.
Lanie’s family and friends were just as wonderful, welcoming me with open arms and making me feel right at home. I couldn’t help but get swept up in the joy of the occasion. Every moment was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of connection that makes these events so special to photograph.
